For sale or trade iconic 1977 Pontiac Trans AM. Many will recall the 1981 Sammy Hagar song, "Baby's on Fire", in which he "go(es) out driving in (my) 6.6" - well, now's your chance to relive those days! All you need for this one is to duplicate Sammy's album cover license plate "IEATZ28" (yes, we know his was red; but hey, this one is still a pretty sweet Trans Am)! beautiful factory (13) Sterling silver metallic, factory Black vinyl interior, original (XA) 400 ci hp engine(Has been rebuilt and bored over less than 2,000 miles on rebuild), 4 bbl, headers, power steering, power front disc brakes, Factory NUMBERS MATCHING 4- Speed Manual transmission, factory bucket seats with console, factory tach & gauges. The car is a factory no a/c: Goodrich Radial TA tires, factory 15” aluminum wheels. The engine and transmission are original numbers matching!
This is a driver this is not a show car it is acceptable for local shows. However, it is not restored to the level that would win best in show awards. This T/A is in perfect condition to enjoy, drive, and remember the good ole days.
The 1977 Trans Am is one of the quintessential favorites in the T/A world, and even though this isn't the Smokey and the Bandit car (the black and gold Y82 special edition), it has that classic 1977 grille and the snowflake wheels! Additional features
