Looking to sell my '95 Hilux Surf. I am really fond of it but since it is a JDM vehicle getting work done on it along with parts has been kind of a pain. Currently working out an issue where the transmission won't go into 5th/Overdrive and tranny hesitates between shifts that I suspect is an ECU issue. So I am kind of just putting out there to see if there are any interested buyers or if anyone that wants to put in an offer or a trade. I am really only looking for another vehicle, so no crates of guns or whatever.
This is a 4X4 1KZ-TE Hilux Surf with 60,XXX miles on it. Puts out about 130HP and 220 LB FT of torque. Interior is fairly clean aside from a few coffee stains and some wear in the cargo area from Home Depot runs. Exterior is like-new for such an old vehicle. 4X4 works flawlessly and engages/disengages quickly. I've kept up on service fairly well and everything seems to run fine aside from the aforementioned transmission issue. I suspect it's a dried up capacitor in the ECU that is causing the issue and a new one should arrive Aug 8th.
