This is a 2008 Gibson Advanced Jumbo acoustic guitar. It comes with a non original hard case. Adirondack spruce top, rosewood bridge, East Indian rosewood back and sides. 25.5" scale. Rosewood fretboard. Mother of pearl diamond and arrow inlays. Cream binding. Grover open gear butterbean tuners. Old scribe Gibson logo on headstock. Straight mahogany neck. 1 11/16". (Tiger) stripe pickguard. Frets are good with little wear.
Overall condition is very good. It has been played, and has a few small swirls and nicks, but absolutely no cracks, breaks or repairs.
This model is not common and is very desirable. Some call it a D-28 killer because of it's big voice and ability to cut through a mix. I won't go that far (D-28 killer) but it is a great playing and sounding guitar with a big, clear voice from top to bottom.
I am putting it up for sale here because I have a lot of guitars and I'm not playing this one as much these days. It needs to be played and will be perfect for the guy who is looking for a very good rosewood guitar to add to their mix.
