I have GPS'ed it at mid-30's, which is enough to push me to the edge of my comfort zone. I have no doubt with the right prop it will effortlessly be in the 40's.

I've been 112 mph in a 16' boat and it was bad. I don't think I want to go 40 mph in a 9' anything.
