Item Description: For sale or trade is my H and R Model 700 22 mag WMRF. Comes with a Simmons scope. Very clean and nice shooting rifle. Always cleaned after fired. Open to trades on other handguns, rifles, and shotguns.

The H&R 700 was introduced in 1976 @ $129.99 MSRP, and was all done by 1986 @ $200 MSRP.

They most probably didn't sell well, in those years, because there just weren't as many .22 mag fans then as now.

I have one of those. It has a highly polished blue finish. They also had a deluxe model with a checkered stock. I have never seen one with that finish or the compensator barrel.
