Item Description: Hurricane Michael beat us up a little in Albany but insurance covered it. Our Camp in Miller County was total-led. Lost about 30 acres of Pines and another 30 of hardwoods, also our 40x60 steel building, Due to this we are selling off a chunk of the collection. Many of these guns are New or Almost New that were bought and put aside for a rainy day.

I can accept some partial trades but the idea is to raise cash to replant and rebuild, so cash is better :)

I have owned a lot of 45's. Most I don't keep long, I try them out, see if they are a fit and if not pass them on. Some I Keep. Some expecting an increase in value and some because they are a good rainy day SHTF backup.

This little Kimber I kept because it feeds anything and is probably the easiest to conceal 45 ACP 1911 out there. Also being Stainless I wouldn't have to worry about it. I never carried it, it's been in the safe just waiting.

A lot of folks think Kimber pistols are over priced. I think I got this one right.

As far as accuracy goes, once I got used to shooting the gun, it surprised me with its accuracy. Put wherever you want to hit right on top of the front sight and that’s where the bullet goes. It was very comfortable to shoot this gun, in that I had no problem shooting a .45 caliber bullet with this small framed gun. I didn’t notice any excessive kick back. I had on double hearing protection (like always) but the gun just wasn’t loud or scary (no 3 foot flame shooting out of the barrel).

Barrel length is where this pistol is quite radical. The barrel isonly three inches long, making it 1-3/4 inches shorter than aCommander and a half-inch shorter than the Detonics CombatMaster.Magazine capacity with the pistol is a full seven rounds, as intraditional 1911 pistols.

Overall length of this pistol is 6.8 inches. The slide is stainlesssteel and the trigger is match grade aluminum. The added length inthe grip in order to accommodate seven rounds allows getting theentire last three fingers on the grip frame. https://gundigest.com/gun-test-the-kimber-ultra-carry-ii
