Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/th...-wwii-receiver-01-44-and-barrel-02-45.873443/
Item Name: FS/FT M1 Garand WWII Receiver 01-44 and Barrel 02-45!
Location: Duluth
Zip Code: 30097
Item is for: Sale
Sale Price: $800
Trade Value or Items Looking For:
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: This is a very nice WWII Garand example. Springfield receiver and barrel from WWII puts this in a very desirable category for collection. Throat and barrel measurements are 3+ and 2+ so this is unreal on the range. WWII barrel is bright and shiny with nice rifling. This Garand's stock is stamped BA for Benicia Arsenal in California (closed in 1964). Barrel was likely replaced there in 1945 (stamped 02-45) and it saw limited duty thereafter. Bolt is HRA replacement by CMP where it was prepared for the range or other activities. Action very smooth.
