Item Description: Aquired this rifle from a distant relative that passed, I didn't know him at all and no one wanted the rifle so I took it. It was purchased new in the late 70's-early 80's, shot exactly two times, cleaned and placed in a case. When I got the rifle it was clean an mint.

I installed a cheap scope and sighted it in, rifle has been shot a grand total of 5-6 times, it was cleaned and put in my safe and I regularly clean it now.

Just trying to clear out some stuff I don't use or have a need for.

If you take the first two numbers of the serial number and mine is it from 100 that'll tell you what year that gun was made. Because that will probably be one of the first question somebody will ask you what year it was made

What was the years for the difference? I know there was a crossover where something changed? Like the button safety or something?

I believe they added it in 1984
