This 1997 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear is a Japanese-market van that was imported from to the US by in September 2022.

The van has been refinished in a Matte Tan rubberized coating over gray\blue patterned Jasper cloth upholstery, and power is provided by an intercooled 2.8-liter turbodiesel inline-four linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

Comes with two keys and one remote key fob. This monster van is a true head turner everywhere it goes. It is plainly apparent why! Featured as a headliner exhibit at Import Alliance and Festivals of speed!

Additional equipment includes a locking center differential, a tailgate ladder, fog lights, side steps, Japanese off-road wheels, automatic climate control, swiveling second row seats, Carrozzeria multimedia stereo, integrated front-bumper bull bar, rain guards, tinted windows as well as a 6″ adjustable suspension lift with Rancho adjustable shocks (RS9000), a rear stabilizer bar, a front stabilizer bar, and tie rods.

The glow plugs were replaced in January 2022, while work performed in December 2021 included servicing the front brakes, rear brakes, and replacing the radiator, and water pump.

Documentation includes: Service records from the end of 2020, Original Import Documents, and a Clean Georgia title for easy registration. The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned gray\blue cloth, which extends to the carpeting and is complimented by a gray dashboard and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, a touchscreen CD/DVD head unit, and an under-dash storage compartment.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-km/h speedometer and tachometer along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An auxiliary gauge pod mounted atop the dash includes an inclinometer and battery voltage gauge. The digital odometer indicates 148k kilometers (~91k miles), approximately 4k of which were added by the seller. The 2.8-liter turbodiesel sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential.

The glow plugs, fuel filter, and air filter were reportedly replaced under current ownership. There is virtually no rust on the body or underside of the vehicle save for some surface rust on a couple of suspension components and exhaust pictured. The van is equipped with an aftermarket muffler. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.

Airconditioning is in perfect order!
