I don't even know why i'm bothering to help ya again bigclay, especially after the pm you sent me. But i'm going to try once again, so these guys quit laughing at you. First off, it's a 1:7 twist ratio not 7 to 1. That twist ratio, 1:7, means it makes 1 complete turn per 7 inches of barrel length. The purpose of the tighter twist rate of 1:7, as opposed to say 1:12, is to stabilize the round at distance in order to prevent the onset of tumbling of the round itself. So it's about stability, not aiming. You use your sights, scope, eyes, and wind calculations and such for "aiming."

The standard Olympic Button Barrels are 1:9 and you can find the stamping on the barrel itself which will look like 1x7, 1x9, 1x10 etc. Either way, you probably want to check it just to make sure. It's fairly unlikely that it's a 1:7 twist ratio, but i'm not saying that it isn't. From the looks of it in the pictures, it appears you have either the UM or K8 model. For clarification purposes, you should probably also include the actual model in the details.
