Item Description: Remington 700 in 308 with 20” threaded heavy profile barrel. Magpul stock with Magpul/AI mag adapter kit with magpul 5 round mag. KRG oversized bolt lift. X-mark adjustable trigger tuned by VETs shooting center gunsmiths in Russell, AR. EGW 20MOA Scope rail/base. Steel 3 port muzzle brake timed with crush washer. Factory box and bottom metal included.

Scope mounted is a Barra Model MP 2.5-10X50 SF.

I have 199 pieces of lapua brass 2-3x fired. 75 of them are loaded ammo for the gun with 178gr ELDx bullets. 75 are primed and ready to load (Fed GMM) and 49 pcs are fired cases.

I have fired less than 200rd through the gun and believe I am the 2nd owner. I took the gun to Wyoming last year for elk and carried it for 1.5wks. The only sign of use is some wear on the muzzle brake from riding in the truck and carrying the gun. The black oxide finish everywhere else is very durable. The 178gr load I developed for this gun will shoot .5 to .6moa and I have verified that out to 500yd. It will shoot tighter with 168gr SMK (see picture from 1st owner at bottom).

I am selling this gun for one primary reason. It's too heavy to tote/backpack in the Wyoming mountains. If it was lighter I would keep it just based on how it shoots. If it was in a more powerful cartridge I would keep it, despite the weight. Since neither of those are true I'm selling to buy something that fits my needs better. I'm not opposed to trades, but I would rather sell it. Serious trade options would be higher end bolt actions in 300 Win mag/300RUM or 300PRC w/ threaded bbls.

If the gun doesn't move soon I'm seriously contemplating selling off the magpul stock/bottom metal to lighten it up and keep it in the safe.

Rifle w/ mag and EGW scope base: $800 Firm
Rifle w/scope: $1k
Ammo/Components: $260 Firm

If you buy everything I will do a discount and sell it for $1175.
