Reworked and refinished this 3 Screw Ruger Blackhawk with a 6.5” barrel. The bore has a couple small pits. The rifling is still good. The finish was pretty rough but I was able to bring the old girl back to life. All of the internal parts and screws have been cold blued and then immersed in Barricade oil. The grip, sight, ejection assembly, revolver, and body/barrel assembly have been refinished with semi gloss Brownells Alumahyde. The Alumahyde finish has a couple of imperfections but is overall very good. There are two small spots on the right side of the frame that flaked off. You can see them in the second picture right past the hammer. I also baked all the parts to cure the epoxy finish. I polished the hammer. I replaced the cylinder latch spring. Replaced the rear leaf sight insert with an upgraded leaf sight insert. I also replaced the grip screw with a stainless steel screw and polished up the original grips. Forcing come appears to be almost like new. Functions and fires with 100% reliability.
