Smitty I've never actually weighed it, cause it's heavy enough that I don't have to You don't really shoulder fire this rifle, for sure. Definitely a bipod or bag-type rifle. Easy to shoot because of the weight and accurate. I really love this thing, it gets tons of looks and questions the few times I've had it out at a range but I'm just needing funds to help with an ATV purchase for our new property.

I can't edit my first post, but after several inquiries I thought I'd offer to sell rifle package without scope & mount. This would lower the price some and a lot of folks have their own scopes they are used to they'd rather use.

Asking $2k without scope/mount, $2500 with. Scope and mount are a bit over $1k new. Also wanted to clarify I was looking for a utility type ATV, preferably a Yamaha Grizzly or Honda Foreman, 4wd.

Item Description:
If you're looking for a knock em down, ready to roll package this is it. I started with a stock Rock River Arms LAR-8 Varmint A4 with 26" stainless bull barrel and started adding the good stuff...here's what it's got:


-RRA LAR-8 7.62x51mm with 26" stainless steel bull barrel, 1:10 twist, varmint gas block with sight rail, 2-stage RRA trigger with winter trigger guard and upgraded Advanced Half Quad Rail. Barrel is threaded 5/8x24 to Thunderbeast Arms specs, it's perfect and comes with a knurled thread protector.


-Vortex Viper PST FFP 6-24x50 Mil/Mil scope with sunshade, killflash, and scope lens cover. This is the First Focal Plane (FFP) model which allows you to use the same holdovers at any magnification without having to recalculate.


-Larue Tactical SPR-15 QD scope mount, rock solid mount for a great scope


-Magpul PRS stock in Flat Dark Earth, has adjustable length of pull and cheek riser


-GG&G Extreme Heavy Duty bipod


-Accushot Midrange Monopod


-Magpul MBUS Front and Rear flip up sights in Flat Dark Earth


-Badger Ordnance Tactical Latch for the RRA charging handle


-(2) Rock River Arms 20 round polymer magazines
-(2) FAL 30 round steel magazines (this rifle accepts metric or inch FAL mags)

This is an excellent rifle, I really take care of my things. Every piece on this rifle is like new, I have less than 400 rounds down the barrel and I have mostly shot Federal Match with 168gr SMK ammo.
