What's the approximate serial number on it? The gold medalion on the stocks puts it between 1910 and about 1929. GLWS.

I'm not sure what the "B" means (probably the "blued" designation). It's a .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 - 4th Change, made between 1909 and 1915. (serial # range of 146900 to 241703) GLWS

The gun shop I took it to said that the "B" Does mean it has a blue finish. Thank you for the additional info.
