Up for sale or trade is a Fantastic Sharps New Model 1863 Carbine. Just about everything on this carbine is in perfect condition and still has a lot of color case hardening left. The bluing on the barrel is 90-95% and is original, the bore itself is mirror bright. The stock has but only one or two imperfections but otherwise perfect. The bluing on the heads of the screws also show a dark blue color finish. This rifle is an Indian War Alteration so it has been rechambered for the 50-70Govt cartridge and the original civil war stock replaced with a later one. Everything on the carbine is tight and functions as it should.
