Item Description: Being offered is a rather uncommon Smith & Wesson model. This is a Model 629 (No Dash) Stainless .44 Mag with a 8.4" barrel, white outline rear, red ramp front sights. This 629 would be considered by collectors as 'Transitional' as it possesses the recessed cylinder chambers but the barrel is not pinned. Revolvers like these were produced in the early 1980's. Other than very minor witnesses of a former scope mounting (previous - 29 years ago - owner used the gun for hunting) the condition cosmetically and mechanically would be judged to be excellent. The gun has had relatively few rounds through it as evidenced by its tightness and bright/crisp bore rifling. Please contact for more info if desired. Included is an excellent condition Bianchi 4BHL fitted holster. This gun is now priced $100+ below market - Thank you for your consideration.
