Those fake supressors were classified as real suppressors by the ATF and recalled. Was this one affected?

No, that was the Gen-1 version. The Gen-1 was slightly longer than the barrel and could have been modified, this is the Gen-2 model. Further revisions including a slightly different trigger area, charging handle, front handguard, and front sight post to keep HK happy.
