Item Description: Model 71/84 mauser service rifle -- complete as issued -
While it has some minor handling marks it was likely never issued --
Been fired a few times, bore is perfect --
This is the first mauser bolt action repeating rifle --

I would consider a 32 revolver in partial trade --
Sorry but I am unable to provide photos --

Dam must be a beauty. Ammo will be hard to find though. Will stink to clean too as it's black powder. But it's a tool made with old world techniques. There's a reason it's still around today. The Germans knew how to make stuff back then. It's worth every penny

Yes, not going to find ammo at wal-mart -- but brass is aavailable -

I have fired quite a few smokeless loads in another 71/84 i had -
No issues with correct powder and charge --
At that time there was still a lot of original ammo available.
Reloaded old brass by opening up case to accept shotshell primers -
