Item Description: Selling a Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun. 12ga, comes with factory 18" barrel - has XS DXT Standard Dot Shotgun Night Sights installed along with LED Surefire light fore end. Has GG&G single point sling adapter and Wilson Jumbo Head Safety. Excellent plus overall condition. These are the "Gold Standard" of pump action defensive shotguns.

I highly encourage anyone to check out prices from places like Bud's Gun Shop, and you will see how good a deal this shotgun is, in this configuration with these accessories.

Comes with only the 18" barrel pictured.

(NOTE - installing a less than 18" barrel on a shotgun would be illegal without the appropriate approved BATFE Tax Stamp in hand)

Where did you get the shorter barrel I need one of them

It is a Remington factory barrel. It came direct from the factory on an SBS. Remington Customer Service will sell them directly to you. However they will want a copy of your approved BATFE Tax stamp form 1/4.

FWIW - that barrel and another went on EBay where they closed at a lot more than i was trying to sell them for here at ODT

A standard KSG has an 18" barrel and an OAL longer than 26.5", they do make shorter version for LEO and Military only, the only exception to the 18" barrel length on shotguns is the Mossberg 590 Shockwave and the Remington Tac-14. They have an OAL too long to be considered a pistol but a barrel length too short to be a shotgun and because they have a grip that is classified as a brace and not a stock, they are considered "Firearms" by the BATFE. Best of luck on sale to the OP, I love a stubby barrel on an 870
