This is a correct U.S. issued Remington Rand (slide and Receiver) 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY. Ser# 13789xx indicates 1943 mfg. Bright bore barrel marked "colt .45 Auto". Inspection mark FJA, original parkerized finish. Frame and top of slide have "P" proof marks. Right side of frame has strong cross cannon cartouche. Correct grips with no chips or cracks. One correct mag. I have been informed that the hammer is a wide spur which is not the correct one for a 1943 RR. A nice one.
