Item Description: Nice Sako from circa 1969. Excellent condition, barrel has been bedded. Original pad has hardened over time.

Nice old rifle right there.cant figure out why these rifles don't sell very well on this site. Keep it up as there will be a lot of traffic here, but give sakocollectors.com a try. It's all Sako all the time. You will escalate your chances of selling rifle.

It's probably because many on here are cheap and see it and think "dunno wut dat is but it ain't no Remington sevenhunert er Winchester mawdl sevenny" and other bs where they pay $400 and then invest $600 or more in necessary mods to TRY and make it a better rifle....then end up selling it for $500 while bragging about having over $1000 in it.
I kind of like it better that way when I'm one of the odd ones with ONLY Sako and Weatherby hunting rifles (you know, where just about the only upgrade needed is adding a high end scope)

I wasn't gonna go that far. There are some folks that understand quality and are aware of these rifles attributes. Try that other site. May have better odds. It's priced nice. Great glass too for the money. Try some of the national sites if you will ship it. I've seen these guns sit for almost a year on this site. Folks are not familiar with the quality of these rifles. I own several and they are FAR superior than any remington savage Winchester or any of the others. IMO of course.
