Item Description: SKS - K Sports Parka Para 7.62x39mm Carbine
This carbine was previously listed as; SKS Chinese Tanker Model 7.62x39mm carbine has been completely reconditioned by Norinco. That was the information that I was given by the dealer when I purchased it around the mid 90's. When I initially posted listing, someone on OT brought to my attention that this looked like a K Sport. After looking into it, it is in fact a SKS - K Sports Parka Para 7.62x39mm. This is the one everybody is looking for the Parka Para. The rifles used were not factory or serial number specific and were purchased from China as barreled/actions already shortened to 16.5 inches. K-Sports then parkerized the barreled/action grey and installed them into USA made Butler Creek stocks. The green stock was made exclusively for K-Sports and was found no where else. It is 37.75 inches overall length and has green synthetic hand guard with extended mag release, recoil pad and sling. It has a Norinco picatinny rail scope mount cover with a Tasco Pro Point Red Dot zeroed at 50 yards. It comes with 1-35 round USA metal mag and 2-20 round Tapco synthetic mags and 200 rounds of ammo. READY TO ROCK AND ROLL. Take possession in Newnan, GA with quick look at DL and confirm that you can legally own a firearm in Georgia.
