Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: From the mid-1980s, this pair of Swarovski Habicht 10 x 50 binoculars has accompanied me on a few hunts, but has spent most of the last 30 years on a shelf at home. The center pivoting hinge is amazingly strong to assure consistent barrel alignment under the most extreme field conditions. The clarity and light-gathering properties of the glass is amazing. The binoculars are armor-coated to prevent damage, and provide slip-resistant, quiet handling. There are two straps included: standard nylon web type; the other strap is a "flotation" strap which will float the binoculars in the event they are dropped in the water. Eyepiece lens cover is intact, but as with almost all of this vintage of Swarovskis, the front lens covers dried with age and are gone. Current production Swarovskis similar to these cost nearly twice what I'm asking for these, and can run into several thousand dollars. These binoculars are a joy to use.
Thanks for looking.
