Well, I'm considering letting go of my unicorn. I've always wanted this rifle...since I was 10 years old. And this is not only one of the finest examples I've ever seen, but it shoots phenomenal. The rifle was manufactured in May of 1983 at Ruger's Newport, New Hampshire plant. The wood on this rifle is unreal...its sooool nice. I told the reputable member I purchased it from that I would hunt with it, regardless of how nice it was but the more I look at it, the more I can't bring myself to do so. I had Tyson Crabb of C Precision rifles in Dallas throw in a Timney tang safety trigger in it and I added the Trijicon Accupoint 1.25-4x scope. To me, it was a great blend of old school and new school. I love this rifle if I haven't reiterated that enough, lol but I really have my eye set on a more practical rifle for me. So im selling her.
