I only ask because of my ignorance. I like revolvers...dont know much about them and cant shoot em well...but i like them.

I had a Taurus 82 revolver I put S&W model 10 rubber grips on
because they felt better than OEM rubber. Due to difference in
curve of that part of grip, mine also had that exposed hole.
Hope that helps solve the puzl.

That semi polish is pretty! They come matte stainless and to polish one takes some work. Underpaid work at that.
