Yes, it has 2 forge markings on it that are 2 different letter "A"s. I think one stands for Alcoa - not sure what the other one stands for. Was told it came off a Colt AR.

I stand corrected, apparently the Split "A" stands for Anchor Harvey Aluminium according to this list I found on another forum.
