Cash paid for Silver coins 1964 and before.
1965 -1970 half dollars.

Just out of curiosity how is silver flatware sold? By the pound? And are there different levels of purity? I guess I assumed it would be worth more as old/vintage flatware than the silver value

Usually by troy oz. Knives (and some serving pieces) have hollow handles so they aren't worth a great deal as scrap. I'm talking 1930's - 1970's wedding silver here. Not collectible patterns. Only stuff that melts for more than individual or grouped pieces.
