I collect and buy silver coins.
U.S. dimes ,quarters and half dollars 1964 and before .
I especially like the STONE MOUNTAIN HALF DOLLAR .
Paying cash at safe location. I will be armed and backup security .
Buying 1 ounce to 1000 ounces.
All silver tested,too many counterfeit Siver Eagles and Silver dollars everywhere now.

I got one off Ebay awhile back and 5 off a forgotten website that turns out to be Chinese (so, those 5 are probably fake? )

Most are Chinese fakes sold on Etsy and the like.
Copies of U. S. Legal tender coins by federal law have to have the word "COPY" stamped onto the coin . The ones on Etsy usually don't.
If a magnet sticks to it it's counterfeit.

I actually bought a small keychain magnet for that very purpose. According to the magnet, they are real!!

I'd do the ping test ,weigh the coin and use the magnet ladder,Google it.p
I've been dealing coins since 1957.
I've seen a lot of counterfeit coins.
