Its 2am and something goes bump

the 2am bump in the night for me happens after i eat taco bell.
The ducktape, barbed wire and blowtorch.. the only cal I make is to work taking a couple of vacation days..

I grab my mossy 500A persuader, wake the wife hand her the Kimber 1911 and have her stay and dial 911 while I get to my kids and hold the line until all is safe. If I see the perp, he will obviously be a threat and I will dispatch him to the netherworld, If I do not see the threat, once the kids are with wifey, Ill clear the house and try to maintain a visual to make sure it's not some deer or sometlhing that broke through the glass door
Sounds like a solid strategy. At my house there is a code word that is used to the kids and wife. They then know where to huddle with the cell phone and back up fire power. Only one way up to bedrooms. It will be covered by shotgun and .40 cal all with tactical lighting. Oh and i have 4 dogs that sound like a pack of hungry wolves. I will wait for Leo to clear the house if need be. It also helps that i have 3 Leos in the neighborhood.
