I got a call from my friend Josh at City Pawn in Dawsonville Monday. Turns out I won a pistol that was raffled off for the Veteran's Three Gun, Inc. A Diamond Back DB 9. I picked it up Tuesday. Went back by this morning and traded it for a Marlin XT-22MR bolt action 22 mag that I was really interested in. I've been wanting a bolt 22mag for a while and now WOOOHOOO! I've got one!! Now to get an optic and some range time.

The XT-22MR....it's got the "pro-fire" adjustable trigger and came with two magazines. I hope it's a shooter!!

Congrats! That's a sweet little rifle. I have one and it's very accurate. Try the 50 grain ammo, that's what mine shoots best.

My 922M likes the 50 grain the best too. Just hard to find it.

Well, no joy on trying it out this weekend. "She who must be obeyed" had me shopping for new living room furniture yesterday (Sat) and the rest of the weekend has been rainy and cold but it wasn't a total loss because I got a new recliner!. Maybe I can get some range time one day this week. I will post target pics when I can.
