I'll assume this is for bear defense.

To heavy to comfortable carry around in the woods
God forbid you see a bear and shoot you have to hope to hit and kill in one shot because you aren't getting rapid follow ups with that.
You got a round that has tons of powder and gave it the shortest possible barrel length to burn in, makes sense.

Does pump action and semi auto, which is really useful if you work in a prison and use tear gas, everywhere else it sucks.

After the embarrasment of getting raped by glock, smith and wesson ran with their tails tucked between their legs. Knowing their revolvers were all they had (and even those were beginning to lose popularity from the lawyer locks) Smith and wesson went full retard and crammed the biggest possible bullet they could in a handgun. Aimed at "big game hunting", lets shoot a 10lb revolver with the recoil of a falcon punch iron sights at 100 yards and take down a bull. Apparently it's also great for carrying concealed in areas where bears may try to rob you, as they even make a snub nose version.

He may not hit the bear but with any luck the fire ball may blind him long enough to make a get away!
