I heard him say this as I caught the tail end of his program around 1900....he said that the proposed bill, which would be voted on after Easter, not only will not include Feinstien's AWB but apparently will not include a ban on "high-cap mags" nor limit the capacity of any magazines.

Did anyone else hear this? Confirm or deny it? :noidea:

Feinstein will be allowed to offer an amendment to the gun control bill. The primary element of the bill to be voted on by the Senate is a proposal by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms between law-abiding Americans. The legislation is expected to be considered the week of April 8.

Feinstein’s legislation, which proposes to ban nearly every semi-automatic shotgun and detachable-magazine semi-automatic rifle, several other categories of firearms, and any ammunition magazine holding 11 or more rounds, will not be included in the Senate’s gun control bill at the outset, out of concern that it would decrease the chance of Schumer’s legislation being approved.
