Apparently there's a gun show this weekend in town. Anyone know if this is the first one? Anybody been before? Is it any good?

I will be there getting rid of a lot of surplus stuff. There will be deals to be made. Not planning on bringing anything home.

Closer than ones in 'Lanta so might have to try it.
Now have to decide whether go Sat. for best selection
or try Sun. for best price assuming anything left from Sat.

I may be able to go tomorrow. Lots of yard work after the rains. Do let us know what it's like and is it worth going (size of show, number of vendors and walkers, BS tables, etc.) Thanks.

Went today, just as I expected. At least it was only $10 to get in, and a pretty nice venue. But if you are not close to the Jefferson area save your gas and your money.

Nice facility. Many friendly vendors willing to sell 9mm ammo for $45 box of 50, buck a round for common .223, in a baggy. Did see a few nice collector pieces. When did Norinco SKS start selling for $750 to $1,150? I missed that memo. Deals to be made with primers, if you are willing to pay $245/1,000. Nice facility. I did get the name and number of the vendor that had cases of 1# bottles of gunpowder at $50 a bottle (H1000, H100, I4350 and a dozen others).
