John Lovell on not upgrading your trigger.

I don't agree with his analogies at all (but I get he's trying to prove an eventual point) and that's the longest 1/4" in history ;) but yes.... obviously a hair trigger on a defensive carry weapon is a bad idea.
Having said that, every gun I own has a stock trigger.
 
He is a good dude. We held some training down at Telluric (in Brunswick) and had lunch with him and did some drills with him while there too. He is knowledgeable, but with a very down to earth teaching attitude that students on any level can appreciate.
 
I've owned about 50 or so different firearms in my life and never changed out the trigger. I learn the trigger. Learning stock triggers can work to your advantage. For example i wasn't a huge fan of the glock trigger at first but now I love them. I know it so well I can pick up any factory glock and feel right at home
