Just a question?

To the OP's original question as to why trade prices are often listed as higher than the sale price...my opinion is that some people on here are greedy. Not the sellers for asking more for trade value but for the sorry lowball offers you get. If a new gun costs $1,000 and you list it for sale at $700 with the trade value of $700, I bet you'll get plenty of offers to trade for a gun that costs $700 or less as new. Trade value in my opinion should be nothing more than the difference between two guns. Wholesale to wholesale or retail to retail. So NO, I will never trade straight up on a gun that costs me $1,000 new for a gun that costs someone else much less new and then have $1,000 in another gun now worth $500 used.
