No he wasn't. Two cars passed him on the right. He was not keeping right except to pass. He was the slower traffic not keeping right... Wouldn't have been in a wreck had he been in the right and correct lane.

It is a shame when dicks collide, but it could have been a lot worse.

It takes longer for trucks to accelerate and decelerate. If you watch, he was gaining on the flatbed the entire video. (He may well have been being an ass and riding in the left lane the whole day, we'll never know) If you have ever driven an oversize vehicle, you know that you can't wait until the last second to change lanes. It's unsafe and cars generally will try to block you so they aren't inconvenienced and have to take their foot off the gas. I'm giving the truck driver the benefit of the doubt in this case, most are professional and patient.
I've had cars play chicken with me thinking that I'm going to risk my life to avoid letting them hit me numerous times. Only one time did they not back off. If anyone tries this tactic, they deserve to win the Darwin award of the day and I will have no sympathy for them.

You guys see all of those signs that say( leave more space, for big trucks)? Don't get a ticket. Wonder why? Well, big trucks are very heavy, and can't stop on a dime. When a dipchit cuts over in front of a big truck, they rob the truckers ability to stop adequately. Next time you think about cutting off a big truck, remember this. It's better to be stuck behind a big truck, than under a big truck.

Both were idiots, the car driver assumes the truck will just slow down for her which he should have her fault or not. He clearly saw that she was there and decided he was going to be a bad ass by moving over and still on the throttle trying to pass her and the other truck all while talking on the phone. He should have just hit her in the ass not a pit maneuver. His CDL should be yanked.
I get how the tuckers get pissed off. But most "4 wheelers" do not understand truck lanes and truckers deal with it everyday,yes it gets frustrating,but the trucker should have known better. I have driven large trucks and the scene here is a classic one that happens all the time, aint nobody time to be stuck behind a 18 wheeler.

I dont agree with him causing an accident. However, In that situation, I also would have made the guy "work for it" to get in my lane like that. Entitled idiots that think they deserve a spot in front of me that really isnt there... Forget that trash.

He really showed that driver didn't he. Now he had to stop and wait for the police. If he was in a hurry he just screwed himself but he dominated that other driver.

He could have killed someone. Yes the car driver was wrong, but could have ended up DEAD wrong!

Agreed. Since he "moved over" clearly shows he DID in fact SEE the car entering his lane. If he uses the video as proof it was her fault, I feel he will regreat it. Letting off the gas or blowing the horn would have avoided this.

Also, how do we know the other driver was a blonde woman ? Other than the title of the video, it never shows the driver.

About his only fault was "distracted driving", he was talking on the phone during the accident. Also the dash cam was on the right side, not the left. Driver probably didn't even see the car and I doubt he thought/anticipated she would do something so stupid.

Lose lose, the accident will be her fault, but he'll also get points. But probably not get fired. Trucking Cos. are short of drivers.

But , when that video finishes ,click the next screen on the lower left of the frame . It shows accidents in snowy winter driving . About 7+ minutes in a dude gets hung up with a dump truck bed ,gets out and hurls ....... Pretty crazy !
