Karambit

Not a knife guy here. Looking for a quality folding Karambit in the couple hundred $$ range. Fox, Spyderco, Bastinelli, Emerson…. I think I like the Wave feature. What say ye?

Probably gonna get a trainer too so I can get learnt.

Well, I finally got to handle one today. I’m not sure that design is my cup of tea. Opening it was a bit cumbersome. Maybe with practice it would get easier, but I think a more intuitive opening feature, such as the Wave design, is what I’m after. Also, the locking mechanism being a two hand design isn’t very practical in my mind. I like liner locks or a mechanisms I can depress with one hand and fold the blade up on an object with the same hand. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wave=Emerson in my opinion. Its a solid and proven design. The Fox is also a good option, but I would prioritize the Emerson one.

Civivi is bringing out a fixed blade. The blade looks like a karambit style. But with the push of a button the blade can be rotated and looks like a karambit or push the button again and it rorares back to straight. Retail should be around 140
