Kel-Tec KSG

Looking forward to getting one in a trade today. Will be taking it to the range and letting you know what I think.

What have your experiences been with it?

So hit the range and LOVE the KSG! Shot smooth and quick not one hiccup. The thing is a beast!

The ones I've had show up in my classes ran without problems.

I think the KSG got a bad wrap for a while because the action is further back making it easy to short stroke. That's a training issue, not a problem with the shotgun. From what I've seen, KSG's run fine as long as you don't pump them like a sissy.

High brass seems to cycle more smoothly in the one I had but it cycled low brass too.

Be careful with the grip.... look up the malfunctions on the grip coming off while cycling and the shooter losing most of their hand.

I think Gen 1 had short stroking issues. Mine is a Gen 2 and no problems at all.
