Kel Tec Sub 2k - G17 or G19 ?

I have the parts to put together a gen 2 sub 2k, if you were buying one would you go G17 or G19 ?

G19 has the benefit of using 17 & 19 mags.
G17 benefits from the longer grip.

Who has a preference ?

Id go Glock 23 myself. For the simple fact I was buying cheap 40 ammo in 2019 while everyone was still hating on .40. But I do like your thinking on doing a 19 build simply for the mag versatility of the boogaloo pickups that will be lying around in the areas of least resistance

I've already got all the parts from BIL who destroyed the grip panels, so really rebuilding replacing those.

19 for the win. Ability for a wider range of mags is always a plus.

The Sub-2000 G17 grip feels like a G19 grip because the magazine needs to be held higher up to feed the Sub-2k. If your hands just fit on an actual Glock 19, you won't get all your fingers on the G19 2k. If you have a boatload of G19 mags, I'd get the G19 version; otherwise, the G17.

I have to say, I see the mag attraction of the G19, but the grip is pretty stubby.

I’d go G19 for the mag versatility. The grip fits my hand fine but I have smaller hands as I’m a smaller person at 5’8” 160lbs soaking wet lol

19. You can always use 17 mags with those pads at the bottom for full grip
