That’s frigging hilarious
my older brother told me paper was an insulator and stuck one of moms' sewing needles through a sheet of paper and said 'stick it in the socket' I was 5 maybe 6. What a dumbarse....
My middle son used to sleepwalk so one night heading to the bathroom he took a wrong turn and proceeded to pee on a wall socket. He never knew it happened but it took me a while to determine why the room smelled like an electrical fire.

My brother’s idiot ex wife was trying to remove a nightlight from a wall outlet, looked around and grabbed a butter knife from the floor of their messy house. About the time I realized what she was doing I was temporarily blinded by the flash.
