Midwest is ok but they are a lot heavier than the diamond head I replaced my midwest with the vrs1 and you can really feel the difference in weight. I'll be putting another on my ar10..

That's great to know. Do you know if it will fit the DPMS G2 Recon AR10? They are supposed to use AR15 parts????

Is there any particular reason why you run these on everything? Have you tried any of the others I mentioned? Just curious. I know noveske makes great stuff.

Lol. That's a good reason. I would love a noveske and will own one eventually. I don't have noveske money right now though.

They are definitely better priced. Do you think the quality is as good as the others mentioned? If I could save a little money and still get a good quality handguard, I'd be happy lol.
