I have grown fond of it. I took one trip to the range. I actually like how small the diameter is and able to only put rails where I want them. Takes the cheese grader off.
The chess grater effect is a good point. Hard to argue that one.

that is interesting.Im not sure if it would work on all accessories, but I had an MLOK Afg that I wanted to use on my keymod rail. I looked on amazon and ordered Keymod screws and they worked like a charm.
You guys are making good points. I guess I'm frustrated that DD made the rail but then they don't offer a keymod vfg. They make other keymod accessories though.
Without the rear lug of an actual keymod accessory, that sounds like a bad idea.Im not sure if it would work on all accessories, but I had an MLOK Afg that I wanted to use on my keymod rail. I looked on amazon and ordered Keymod screws and they worked like a charm.
Yep. The lugs are what keep the (tapered) keymod nuts from "squishing" out of place when tightened down. FWIW, I've actually seen cheap, imported keymod knockoff accessories sold on ebay that didn't even have the lugs.Without the rear lug of an actual keymod accessory, that sounds like a bad idea.
Me too! Unfortunately, I was already pretty much "keymodded up" before M-Lok became widely known. Too late to switch up now.I much prefer the mlok honestly. It works just as well but actually looks like it's just another milled section of the rail, that and it doesn't irritate me like the key of when I have a firm grip.
