Noise was terrible, but I gave it some juice and destroyed the metal piece near the kickstand and kept on going. The risk we take for the thrill of the ride. given the air under the front tire, I think it's a lost cause.. and yes riding with no gear on deals gap = not a smart move. it's not just you as a rider, it's others that can cause you to crash. but in this case I would guess it's the riders fault seeing I don't see anything else in the photo to place blame.

Yes, I saw the air as well. I think my front tire stayed on the ground as the bike remained relatively stable. I use to run my BMW R1150RT through there pretty hard, but the younger guys always seemed to want to get to their destination faster. I never took a spill in that area, but rendered limited aid through the years two times.

Saw that, best thing is reach down and grab your ankles and tuck. Why you ask? Because that's how I roll....
