Kitchen cookware ideas needed- brand

I usually use the cast iron. My new favorite is this one:

These are good, but some of the lids are vented.

Sur la table or other good kitchen shops. I bought a few years ago the All Clad D5 stuff and love it. It's not non stick but I use it all the time and like it way more than my nonstick stuff. Read the instructions on how to keep food from sticking.

If you want more cast iron go to the Lodge factory outlet in South Pittsburg just west of Chattanooga.
 
Cast iron is good but it does get heavy.

My suggestion is that if don't know brands and materials,go to a restaurant supply place. Stuff will be a few dollars more but it's the most durable.

Manning Bros.on the Athens bypass comes to mind.

Personally I avoid non-stick except except for a small omelet pan. Also on frying pans make sure the handles are oven proof.

100% agree - she doesn't buy your guns, you don't buy her kitchen stuff.
