Knights armament… wtf

Perhaps I’m not cultured enough. Perhaps I’ve missed some news. Perhaps I’m too much of a practical user and not a collector.

Why does it seem like people are purging their Knights collections for retirement money? I’ve had a couple knights carbines. They’re cool, but not worth 6 grand. Just trying to understand if I missed something.

I think it's nostalgic and KAC gets all the range kids excited. They have some nice stuff, but with everything being proprietary, for most of us it's just not practical. Their 3.2 barrel extensions need the 3.2 bolt to function correctly, the Barrel nut takes a proprietary tool, etc.

Poor has nothing to do with it. A kac won't do anything the top 20% won't also. Except be user serviceable.

I spend money on firearms but kac is a bridge too far for an AR. At the end of the day, an AR is still AR. For that money I want an HK in .308

My biggest spending each year outside of investing is firearms. I won't touch a KAC.
