Know your limits!

Dead Zero has setup some small steels at distance for those that get bored shooting groups. The pic is pretty bad, but there are 4 steels, from left to right, 10 inch, 8 inch, 6 inch and 4 inch, at 800 yards. I took paint off the 4 inch on the 3rd shot. I'd call it a good day to spite the cold and wind. Dialed 5.5 minutes of wind and holding 1 to 2 more depending on gusts with Mk262 black hills OTM.

I didn't know such a thing existed. I stopped shooting my 6.5 CM because it was no challenge. The 5.56 gun needs a lot of wind reading. Then I was shown the plate rack.

I'm going to ask if they'll let me buy a 2 inch plate for 800 and a 4 inch for 1000. That really pushes me and my setup.
