FWIW, I ordered some *great deal* SOG Seal Pup knives from Amazon and they never did show - had to file a claim, but Amz took care of it.

Well that sucks. I have a Seal Pup and like it a lot. My Dad bought it for me when he was at Smoky Mountain last year. SOG makes some good products for the prices. Their machete is also a good one.

Took mine to work today and spent about a half hour puting an edge on it. Started with a file and finished with a 600g stone. Cuts paper with no problem now... Looking forward to giving it a whirl in the backyard. View attachment 1017447View attachment 1017448

Yep. I'll have to put the spin on mine with the sharpening wheels. Budget machetes usually go dull within a good hour of work, so the sharper, the better.
