$80k US is twice what the website is advertising them for (33,500 Euros or about $38,000 US). Must be a lot of expense in certifying these to US standards, unlike the ones that are 25+ years old that do not need to crash test and certify, like all the older right hand drive autos that appear on occasion.
When I was in AFG we saw two white Toyota trucks that had stickers on the back that said "This is not the BOLO you are looking for" Funny as all git out.
Toyota trucks have excellent resale value and seem to be the go to vehicle for overlanding.
I've seen a couple like that here at the port in the fenced off incoming side where military people and big money people have vehicles shipped back over here. If those in the pic are diesel and or right hand drive then they have to be 25 years old before they can get tagged and on the road over here. I was just watching a video on YouTube last week about a place in NJ that imports the little Suzuki and Subaru mini I trucks. Those guys have a pretty good hustle going.
