Land for Target Shooting - Atlanta

Hello All,

I'm looking for some land where i can do some target shooting. Just some basic Pistol/Rifle shooting. I was hoping to become more proficient at a few drills and 100-200 yard shooting. I practice "Leave No Trace" and would pickup everything i brought, including spent casings.

Anyone know of some land or a place i could go close to Atlanta? Closer is better and would help me to be able to go more frequently.

Nice but that's 2.5 hours north of Metro Atl. Georgia Gun Stop is annoying and it's 45-1 hour away.

i'd have no problem paying to use someones land. I'm trying to venture away from taking my guns out of their cases. standing or siting. shooting. packing up. leaving.

Was hoping to do more low intensity moving and shooting, drawing, combat/tactical reloads, etc.

Any help is appreciated. Sorry if this is a repeated post. i'm still using the search bar to look for old posts.

There are lots of people looking for exactly the same thing. The reality is there's very few people who might allow this kind of activity for various reasons, liability being one of them.

Personally, I'm keeping my eyes out in case a suitable piece of land goes up for sale on the east side, (Loganville and east), either to buy myself, or to find 3-5 people to purchase as a group.

What part of metro Atlanta do you live in ?

I live in Brookhaven.

Many people hunt on others land. I'd be doing something similar. Though instead of shooting animals im shooting paper/cardboard.

I assume it's mostly the same?
