One last spike for the year, my brother and his son on my land earlier today

I ended up seeing six does. Was having fun taking pictures and recording them when one of the good young bucks walked up I named biggie small since his right side is much larger than the left. I’m glad he survived this year. Some other pictures make him look better but this is all I can find right now.

He did look bigger than I expected seeing him in person. I saw him and was going to shoot him but that sucker is smart. He spotted my little bit of movement reaching down for my bow about 75 yards away. He didn’t spook but he decided to slowly take the long way around. Good thing is is I had A lot of shooters on camera this year and almost all of them Surived. Definitely pumped to be out early next season

I am hoping that more and more young bucks are allowed to walk. We need to grow trophy bucks and the way is cover, food and time.

Got skunked. I heard more shooting than any other single day. I bet a lot of small deer were taken.
Oh well, solid season. Now to find out what survived and get after some yotes!

I messed up and changed my tree preference about 50 yards away from my original tree choice.
Shoulda kept the original choice cause a nice 8 point I saw earlier in the season walked right past the tree I should have been in and crossed the creek and went up the hill towards my buddys stand.

Unfortunately he was out of archery range for both us.

Next morning I had 7 does at 8am standing next to my driveway starting at me when I left for work as of to say haha can’t touch us now.

Got skunked too! Great morning Sunday too! Heard lots of ducks getting busted though.
